I think the best way to land an interview with the airlines is to write your resume in a way that it will stand out from others. Airlines look for SAFETY,COURTESY,PERSONALITY... Also being able to remain calm in stressful situations. So when you send your resume try to incorporate those things with what you currently do at your job. Lets say you work at a Burger King. The fact that you are constantly in contact with people is a plus. You are not only a cashier but you are a cashier who intermingles with customers in a pleasant manner, taking orders accurately and always making sure that your customers' needs are met. See how that makes a difference. I think you know where Im going with this...And always remember safety is number UNO in aviation so make sure that shows up on your resume as well.
Secondly , when they finally call for an interview they have what is called a cattle call or group interview.Thats when you NEED to stand out! Be outgoing but do not exagerate. They are looking for people who can be leaders without telling everyone in so many words that they are. It is a fine line between being assertive and coming across as cocky. Determine how you can do that BEFORE you go for an interview. Dont be embarrassed to practice in front of the mirror. Body language is a MAJOR part of what they look for. Slouching in your chair while you wait is a NO.After the group interview theres usually a smaller group interview where they throw questions at the group and one or two observers watch what kind of input you give the group.Remember TEAM WORK!!!!
Usually after that they call you for a personal interview and ask you why you want to be a flight attendant etc... Those are questions I cant answer for you.I do know that the airlines are tired of hearing "I love people and I love to fly" types of answers so be creative and I wish you luck!

Psychology. You will realise what I imply whilst you're a flight attendant! Just kidding. I believe the nursing proposal is an fine one. You might even paintings aspect-time as a nurse at the same time you're a FA. It's a rough enterprise, so having a well profession to fall again on is clever. Of path, being a FA isn't all that it is reduce out to be. Get on a few aviation internet sites and spot what men and women ***** approximately. To get the task, a measure does not topic. You can get the task without a measure, but it surely is helping. I might advocate you study a international language too. Most of the fairly well FA jobs require language abilities. Being a nurse might aid for those who have been an FA on a company jet. Good good fortune.

You need the flight attendant course.
If you do not have it then you can still get in if you have a good hand with the HR manager of that company

Maybe you came across in the interview as you came across in your question--as a bragger. It's fairly easy to get those jobs now. They hire the young, middle age, and older people. You can have glasses, no height requirement, weight in proportion to your height.
