it goes off. coz the power is low.
but when i use it on the USB port in my PC.it plays the music!
Am i using wrong batteries?

Its not unlikely to buy a package of batteries that are no good. I also believe Duracell makes a better battery.

I've tried a lot of brands of batteries in my moms medical equipment. I find either Sears DieHard or TrueValue hardware's own brand, last longer than any other, even Energizer or Duracell. Now these aren't scientific tests but, the results are consistent.

Rechargeables? Maybe they're old? Regular batteries don't hold up to the abuse that MP3 players and digital cameras put them through. Better to use a rechargeable.
P.S. Duracell owns Energizer. Same Technology, different brand name.
