I have windows xp and a built in CD burner and I can not burn CD's from window media player or sonic. Also, I can't make my recovery discs that the computer had pre-installed the window comes up to ask me but the section where I answer I want to burn the recovery disc is no longer there. The box is like only half filled in. Please help.

I'd start with a System Restore. Start-Programs-Accessories-SystemTools... It resets your computers internal settings to any previous date when all was cool. It won't delete newly installed programs or saved documents, etc. I

Also, WMP has a great Help menu for step-by-step troubleshooting.

I always use musicmatch to burn my CDs.
