I have experienced a sort of mild prejudice - nothing so serious, or malignant as racism.
Sometimes I notice if I am in a group of older people, say 50+ that men tend not to listen to a woman talk. They don't meet their eyes, the men direct their conversation to other men as if a woman couldn't have something important to say. That does get old.

Sure as a white teacher in a 99% minority school. Many of the kids absolutely hate any white person the see. And the funny part is, whites are the only ones who would even bother to go in and try and teach the kids. Minoirties didn't want to teach there.

Two black girls actually called the police on me because, get this, I parked my motorcycle on the grass at the local library.
Directly across the street was a black neighborhood with hookers and crack dealers on every street corner.
Crap like that makes me want to join the Klan.
