can you play video itunes in ipod minis and have the sound?

Don't know about the Mini but there is software that will let you play video's on the Nano. The Nano comes fully equipped to play video Apple just uses it's software to "deactivate" it so people with video Ipods don't feel ripped off. hehe.

Don't believe the technology is capable of dealing with iTunes Video Output on a Mini!(Or is it Nano??)

nope. you cant play videos on ipod minis at all. with or without sound. you can only play videos on ipod videos. sorry but things are the way they are.
