I found one. It is a 21 year old company and in good standing with the BBB. There is a members fee of $29 a year and this is for your website they provide and all business tools. You are required to buy their products $40-$50 worth per month, all is 100% refundable even if you use it all up you send the bottles back, so there is no risk of loosing anything. The products are things to buy anyways like shampoo, soaps, cleaning products, toothpaste, but all natural safer products for you and the environment. All prices are about the same as what you already buy, I've found some to be cheaper. You do the advertizing for this company. I only do all free advertizing such as online, in fliers, free news letters. You can sign people to just buy the product or even better to do the same thing you do. You get a commission of 23% on everything someone you directly signed up as long as they keep buying. You get 7% commission on everything someone they sign up buys as long as the they keep buying and the same 7% on their sign ups up to 7 generations back. You also get bonuses of $100-$1000 each time you reach a certian number of sign ups, starting with 8. The great part about it is once you get so many sign ups as long as they are still buying you get a paycheck so if something comes up you don't have to worry that you won't have an income. There is so much information to give if you would like more and you are truly interested you may email me at - missyworkathome.com

Any job that either charges you for information or doesn't take out taxes is not legitimate.

If you have the time and energy to commit to someone else's business, why not invest that in your own business using your skills and interests to make 100% of the profits after taxes and expenses???

A good book (worth the time to read) is "Multiple Streams of Internet Income" by Robert G Allen. I found it at the library and it sure gives some awesome tips on working from home, online.

Do something TODAY to get things started so that you don't look back in five, ten or twenty years and say, "I wish I would have...."

Hi, I work for a discount health benefits company, Ameriplan, that offers home based worker positions. You can verify their credentials from the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, the U.S. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, as well as over 100K providers that accept their plans. They have nearly 2 million members, over 100K providers(doctors, pharmacies, vision centers, etc) and over 60K working for them from home. I work part time basically just taking phone calls, answering emails and advertising for the company. With my husband being in the military and I’m a stay at home mom, it’s a great additional income for us. I’m not a salesman and I don’t do any kind of telemarketing – that’s what I love about it. There is nothing shady or difficult with working for them. You get paid for helping people. They are a great company and have been a true blessing to me and my family. They offer great benefits, 401K and the pay is really good. I’d be happy to share with you more. I pretty much gave up on the whole work from home idea until I found this company. Email me back at airforcecontractnegotiator @ yahoo.com and I’d be happy to get you more info.

Good Luck!!

There are plenty legitimate online businesses out there you just have to be smart when looking. I recommend Network marketing and or affiliate marketing. Both of these allow you to sell someone else's products and earn commissions on them. Network marketing also known as MLM allows you to earn on the efforts of others as well. You basically earn a percentage of your own sales as well as the sales of your group.

If the products is viable then generally speaking the company is legit. If there is no product (physical or information) and the company is strictly trying to sell a "money making opportunity" then it is defiantly a scam/pyramid scheme.

I operate a few networking marketing companies and am doing very well with it. If you are really interested and are willing to learn then online businesses are the way to go. Just remember you must treat it as a business not a hobby, otherwise you will never get anywhere.

Hope this helps,

Have you ever heard of BurnLounge? Not very many people have heard of them, as they just started in October 2005. BurnLounge gives you several options for affiliation. With BurnLounge, you can buy music, sell music, and promote new musicians (for example unsigned bands) on your BurnLounge site. They have music sites now, but will be adding ring tones, movies, DVDs, video games, concert tickets, audio books, etc.

I have an online store at http://burnlounge.com/mlbliss and enjoy the people I have met while doing this. It can be a challenge trying to get people to explore new things, but I enjoy every minute of it :) This is not a 9 to 5 job, unless you want it to be. You work from the convenience of your home and on your time.

Here are some sites for you to check out and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at tonja_myers@yahoo.com or tlm16365@hughes.net

To check their legitimacy: My site is http://burnlounge.com/mlbliss and you can also research them at http://corp.burnlounge.com and http://help.burnlounge.com
