i just broke up with someone but i have liked a person who is friends with the guy i just broke up with since 1st gr. i really want to go out with this person but he wont go out with me and now i am like really depressed

Do not push the situation. Be friends, it might turn into something more and it may not. If you push it when that isn't what he wants, you may not even have the chance to be friends. He might me a little wary of dating you because you dated a friend of his, let him deal with that situation and you just stay close and let him know that you really care.

Sounds like it's time to move on with your life. If you bug him about it, he will only resent you more. You can't force someoene into liking you. Don't worry about boys so much. They come a dime a dozen.
