yeah, in college, i paid for food delivery costing about $22 in mostly dimes and nickels b/c that's all we had by then. And, poor guy, his tip was in the same form. I would feel bad, except that it is all money, and he should've known what he was getting into delivering cheap food to college kids

that is the working man saying about a hard life and by the week end he my get a quarter

when you see other people have it easy it not the same, so that's why we nickel and dime it

Sadly, yes. I have a gum ball machine and the other day the kids needed lunch money and I didn't have any small bills. So I opened up the gum machine and counted out lunch money for them in nickels. lol

Hell yes! Money is money... I've paid for food, coffee, movie tickets, and lots of other stuff is nickels, dimes... sometimes a few pennies. lol.

Never. I always save my change and put it in a container everytime I come back from shopping or eating out. Once it is full I take it to the bank and end up with $150 or more.

No, I haven't, not for larger amounts. The reason being that you can only pay up to a certain amount in coinage before the person or company you are paying can charge you back for the expense of having to roll the coins and/or take them to the bank. Do you want to pay someone to roll your coins and/or take to a bank? Think "COINSTAR"

yes, a toll. I accidentally got off at the wrong exit number so I had to scrounge around my car to find enough change to get home.
