A downloadable studio version of The Saints Are Coming will be released at the end of October, and a week later ( November 6th) a 7" and CD version will go on sale for the single. You can still purchase the live track from Rhapsody

It's a pretty good song. It's not the best work of U2 or Green Day but it's decent and worth listening to. This song was was done as a donation for "aid of Music Rising, a charity working with musicians affected by Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and the Gulf region". So considering that the song they donated wasn't a "throw away", as is common among music royalty donations by famous artists, I believe U2 and Green Day really wanted to help out in a significant way.

heard it today, these are two bands who's days of good music are long gone, it was horrible and expected.
