The central coast of California has several really nice remote(ish) beaches. So does Oregon and Washington, especially along the Olympic Peninsula.
If you're looking for serious remote, and very nice beaches indeed, the Aleutian Islands can't be beat.

A beach is the shore of a lake, sea, etc. they exist anywhere there is a large body of water. I know of a loto of good beaches to go to tha are not populated. One place to look in a national or state forest or recreational area. Another place is a roadside scenic turnout. they are all over. You will just have to do some sight seeing. Then, of course there is going to some private property, possibly buying your own. That is the best. That is what I am looking forward to doing. But I am looking forward to forming a non-profit orgainizations co-op or coownership of properties where we will all own the land equally. you want to join me??
