He would be neither. Much to the chagrin of both the Dems and the GOP. I'm working on a new website about Jesus not being either conservative or liberal. Or maybe He is BOTH conservative AND liberal. He frustrated everyone on all sides of the political spectrum, and He still does. I think that's totally the point. Check out the first link below for my project in progress.

Actually he was Independent. He did what was right. He followed Gods word and Law. He sided with Conservatives and Liberals both in his day. He espoused religion in every part of our lifes. He made no seperation. He also adv to follow the law, ie. when in Rome do as the Romans do. He was also caring of the poor and unfortunate.

Jesus walked the earth at a time of Roman rule. He didn't apparently feel that he could be a part of the politics of the day... Remember, as a Jew, Jesus would have had the status of "second-class citizen." Paul, the apostle, however, got much from being a first-class Roman citizen, and he went before Caiphus (I believe it was), and demanded his citizenship rights (which got him out of prison). But enough about Roman history...
Today, I think Jesus would be a conservative. He told his disciples to "render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's," when he told Peter to pay taxes...
The conservatives follow the literal interpretation of the Constitution most closely, and it is our Constitution which gives Christians the rights that we have... Since Christ would want us to be allowed to be Christians, he would probably support the conservatives...

Not to piss anyone off, but Jesus was a Communist. True Communism mind you, not Facism.
Read some Marx and read the bible, they preach just about the same. Why did Jesus turn over the money chaning table?? He was a Pinko!

Ruthie is high.
Conservatives follow the literal interpretation of the constitution? HILARIOUS!
Render under Caesar meant to keep politcs and government out of the picture when it comes to matters of God.
I think Jesus would have been an independent. He would have his own ideas. But he would definitely be more liberal than conservative. He was a frigging hippy, for crying out loud.

he'd be a republican for sure, think about all you liberals who demanded that religious icons be removed from courts, and then theres the heated debate with the pledge of alegience, u can't say under God, Jesus is not happy with you people, take away what represents him, then why even bother of thinking of him to begin with.

Oh, definitely liberal. He was a philosopher and conservatives tend to not have an open mind.

since republicans seem most interested in taking rights away from people right now, and liberals have open minds and a live and let live attitude, i think He would be a liberal.
