Try Mogenic.com. It is more like a gay MySpace and there is a chat feature but it is usually under construction. You won't get any "creepy old men" on Mogenic, because only people 25 and younger can sign up and they monitor it very closely. If you don't like it, there are other sites listed on the left side new the bottom that could be useful. Good luck.
