DO you think that the Republican party and mindset is hugely different today among it's most well known leaders than back in the 1950's and 1960's, when the party headliners were people like Ike, Goldwater and Nixon...or do you think the party is of a similar mindset?

Also, do you feel that the Republican party sold out to the Neo-cons during the 1980's to now?

haha...actually if you want the ttruth. the democratic party used to be the more conservative party until kennedy was killed. don't you remember?? tax relief across the board. staying on the offensive as far as foreign policy went.

and homosexual unions??? well that was nowhere even in sight then.
john kennedy said "ask notwhat your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country".

today the slogan is..."what entitlment do i get"

Today the Republican Party is under the control and influence of the Religious Right that controls what the course of the party takes.

Yes, very different, we dont have good leaders that resemble real republicans, we have a hybridized corporate monster-team.
