HOWEVER, you may refer to that region as: the fundament; the "butt" is really an abbreviation for the buttocks, which normally refers to the "cheeks" of the gluteal region, which is the "rump" of the body.

If you wish to refer to a female with a shapely posterior, you may say that she is "callipygian."
