No, you're not! No question is stupid, you just have to find the right person with enough patience to stop and answers it. Children ask questions all the time,are they stupid? No, you learn by asking questions.If you don't know... you have to ask a question inorder for you to learn! Everyday of your life you can learn something new,and no matter how old you are you can still learn new things, so don't stop asking questions...that's how you learn!!!

Don't you realise that stupid people can ask intelligent questions, clever people can ask stupid questions, clever people can ask clever questions, stupid people can ask stupid question. Everybody has a free will and it is up to them what they want to ask, and it is up to everybody to decide how they want to judge the question, so you may ask a stupid question and judge it clever!
