I c it as promotion of jesus, making him relevent and cool again. it's more a tribute and definotly not a parody. If i were jesus i would rather be talked about than ignored. overall the madonna cross n thorns = A good thing.

wat she's done is tame in comparision to the jesus and god things they have on south park and the simpsons.
