This is a functionality of Internet Explorer called AutoComplete. You simply go in Internet Explorer's Tools menu and open 'Internet Options'.
In this new window you go on the Content tab, click the AutoComplete button and click clear forms.

Hi playboy4s,
Click Tools, then internet options then then a box comes up where you can delete off line files, files, history and cookies just click on each one this should delete everything. You can also go to Yahoo! Messengar with Voice click messengar then preferences-ignore list highlight & remove & also message archives to delete old messages. This should do the trick. Good luck & have a good day!

the best way i can think of right now for myself is by actually totally removing my user account and sacrifice losing all my settings then recreating my account and more carefully selecting what i choose to search for because it seems with yahoo it never goes away keeps popping up somewhere and it can be pretty embarrissing. also click on tools and internet options and clear history there.

You can use 'Free Internet Window Washer'. It allows you to erase Window's temp folders, run history, search history, open/save history, recent documents, your browser's cache, cookies, history, visited URLs, typed URLs, autocomplete memory, index.dat files, Google search history, Yahoo search history, MSN search history. It's free. You can find it at any of the following:

Click 'Wash Settings' to select all items of Internet Explore or Firefox or other browser. If you want to clear history of Yahoo Toolbar, also select 'Yahoo Toolbar' on 'Application' page. Then you can wash them.
