Nordstroms has some good stuff. Also try bestbridalprices.com, but it's all online. You'll have to try on the dress at a boutique to make sure the size is right.

If you go to a good consignment shop - you can probably find something you like - but I don't know if you're going to be able to find the latest styles without ordering from somewhere. There are stores where you can find them JC Penney. Try like Macys and some of the big department type stores. Just remember - your wedding day is a minimal challenge compared to a lifetime together and 10 years after your wedding day - you're not going to be regretting your dress choice. You're going to hardly remember the challenges of the wedding and all that went into it 10 years from now so relax and don't be too picky. It's not worth it. In the long run - all these things are like nothing compared to what a lifetime together will bring your way. Marrying someone then divorcing, hurting your marriage because of financial irresponsibilty, adultery, and other issues - now those are things you could regret - it's the relationship that's most important - not your dress. I got my dress at David's Bridal and I don't think it takes that long - you can buy one and if they can't get the fitting in time - you can buy it off the rack and call around to dry cleaners who do alterations who will manage to get the job done in time.

David's Bridal. They have so many different dresses to choose from, so you're sure to find the perfect one! I purchased my dress there approximately 2-3 months before my wedding. Just make sure you leave enough time incase you need alterations. Congrats!

Probably go to a second hand store, that's if you don't mind.
But anyway, does it have to be a traditional wedding dress? These days people are wearing everything to anything

David's Bridal. You can buy off the rack, and they have name brands too.
