The first few numbers (though they seem like casual math, rather than accurate numbers) compare casualties, but what I am more concerned about are people's opinions. I suppose the last stat, about 60 percent of Iraqis supporting attacks, may be accurate; I don't know. This "war on terror" cannot be won militarily. And that is something really incomprehensible to a nation that is positioned militarily as the world's enforcer. Here's a statistic for you: the U.S. military represents about 38% to 40% of the world's total military expenditure on weapons and military goods, etc., but the U.S. accounts for far over half of the world's investment in high-tech R & D of weapons technology. The war against terrorism can only be won in the distant future, by slow diminishment of radical Islamist support on the 'Arab Street'. That's going to take many decades, and it will probably imperil the safety of the world many times during those decades, just as occurred during the Cold War of the last century. This is the Long (Hot) War of our century.

Humm so the total Iraqi death is 45K.. We are way behind because in Africa they was not even fighting back and over 800,000 died? How come our little war and trying to help people is such a big deal and the 800K of deaths is ingored? Only thing I have been seeing about that is the USA is catching a lot of sh!t because we are not going in there and stoping it. If we did we would just be hated again by that country as well.
So what do you think we should do? Do you think we should get back inside our borders and let the world attack us here on our ground or go take it to them? Do you think the USA trying to take down a dictator down is worse then a dictator killing 800k people?
Some people just don't get it I guess. And I am not a bush supporter. That guy is as close to a dictator as you can get and still not be.

I agree with Don K. I'm not a supporter of Bush or his reasoning for going to Iraq, but we're there and if we pull out now than we leave our country open wide for more attacks.

I think those numbers are irrevlevant. Whether or not we should have gone into Iraq is COMPLETELY irrelevant. We're there, and we have certain obligations to fullfill before we leave. Period, end of story, that's it!
