Title: Ghost
Just like petals
On a beautiful flower
I’m wilting away
Never to bloom again
You’ve changed my life
In so many ways
As my petals fall
So does my heart into tiny slivers
As my tears trickle
My whole body shivers
I want to release me
Let my ghost run free
So I can see myself
As my life passes by me
As it unfolds
I’m floating
I’m watching
I see unhappiness
The great pain unwinding
I see the tears flowing
And dreams that I’m not finding
I see dishonestly
The worst you can imagine
Things you should never see
Things that you can’t fathom
Upon my grave
Of my shattered life
I see a bright light
And my soul rises to the sky
It is great hope
I shall never find
Unless I have the might
To pull myself up high
As I come back to life
I realize my soul was dieing
That was before
When I was crying
I have a new light
Keeping my spirit alive
I’m strong again
I NEED A SENTENCE RIGHT HERE THAT RHYMES WIT ALAIVE

actually... you don't need a sentence that rhymes with alive... you need a sentence that ENDS with alive. It seem as if the peak of the whole thing.. the resolution of the poem is newfound, newly discovered, i've been thru the crap and now, life... read the whole thing and try the last line: " I am alive". I just ran the whole thing and tried it... it really works! It's life as you define it, and it leaves a new understanding. In poetry, reiteration is powerful when used the right way.
I am alive; Now, I'm alive. See me, I'm alive; Believe it or not, I'm alive; My ghost is alive... etc.

Great job!

I'm through with life's test drive...

It's enlightened my path to enthrive...

I must hesitate to imbibe...

I've mustered the strength to survive...

I broke free from the talons of the sublime...

Never harvest a relationship that will never provide...

... have broken through the suffocating tide...

Hope this helps
