Dallas by far! Dallas is a great place to live. It has the best shops and a great entertainment industry in it. There is so much you can do - hot air balloon rides, rodeos, bed and breakfasts, etc. Plus you can get almost anywhere in the metroplex in around 30 minutes. Need I go on?

Houston is larger, but I think Dallas is better and cleaner. Houston is closer to the beach though, but Dallas has Six Flags and more and it's next to Fort Worth, Arlington, and a lot of other citys.

Houston is bigger, has a better freeway system and more jobs. However I think Dallas is more layed back. Dallas is hotter in the summer and colder in the winter, but Houston has more humidity. Over all I like the layout of Houston.

houston is worse than dallas because their more gang related, but dallas is more strict with cops. I've gotten pulled over twice in dallas but never have in houston. theres soo many roads to dragg race n never get caught.....so in all reality it depends what u actualy mean by better

That depends on what's important to you. Look at the job outlook for your field , as well as checking on housing choices and entertainment options. Schedule a visit to both, tour the city and make the decision yourself. Each person has a different viewpoint and the ultimate choice is dependent upon your preferences. Try researching the internet to help with your choices. Happy hunting!!!
