It sounds like one person had threatened another. Basically says, "Yeah, if you do, I'll take that gun and blow a hole through you."

It's so not intended for me...I'm a suburban mom...

But it gives a phone number. Do I ignore it? Call the police? Call the phone co?

Too much of this violence. I was a Million Mom March mom...

This person now has MY number on his call list, and if I complain or report it...he'll know exactly who did it.

Don't need to smack myself, I'm pretty cool. Just caught between the possibility that somebody might be hurt...and not wanting to put myself or my family at risk.

I would defenately call the non emergency police number. it might be nothing, but if it is something then your call could be a great help. I have been told by police officers that they would rather get the calls even if they don't go anywhere then not get the calls and have something bad happen because of it.

Call the police. You never know if the person was being serious but it is not worth taking the chance.
