The current international arrangement has the United States comfortably positioned as the world's policeman. The world, just like any community, must have a (tantamount) peace officer, of course, or else Saddam Husseins and Hitlers will rule most or all of the world. The US policeman system obviously does not work now. How do we find our way out of this mess? It is obviously a mess of a situation. What is the answer? Forget the lousy ten points. We are fighting a war that is not being fought by conventional means. The enemy is not wearing a uniform and does not have a gun. He is a dude that owns a fruit stand in Baghdad. He looks just like the millions of guys that live in the same place. He wears the same robe as millions of other guys in Iraq. This person has nothing to live for anymore because he lost everything when a coalition bomb hit the wrong target and exploded in his tiny 1 bedroom place killing all of his family that he was already working 70 hours a week for. Add on this that his Koran specifically says that by sacrificing himself for Allah he will get rewards and 70 virgins for his sacrifice and it's not that much of a decision. The answer: America=gasoline, Iraq=Fire How to quell a fire: Don't keep adding more gasoline to the fire. We did our job, we got Saddam. We have an Iraqi military now. Iraq is now in a civil war, we had to fight ours, we can't and won't fight theirs for them.

Hey Gary quite an asshat thing to say...hey why dont you go move to Iraq...better yet go to North Korea...maybe they will let you still front row while the test a fing nuke...go hug a tree. I dont agree with the Iraq deal anymore but...Me personally I say cut and run...I mean seriously if Iraqi people wanted help they would have asked for it. If any country truly wanted our help they would ask for it. If they are to damn weak to fight the idiot oppressor let em lie in the bed they made. We should concentrate on securing home...I mean truly securing "HOME" not Oil. I mean who the hell is stupid enough to bring americanism to a region who hates us infidels and expect our government structure to fly...Bush must still be a drunk. Now on the Other trigger finger...If North Korea Drops or tests that nuke offer their women and children notice to leave and wipe there exsistance clean off the planet. In cases like that we and every other country in the World have a responsibility to ensure a planet exsist for our children and when someone uses it for a nuclear test site to boast they have firepower...I'd show em our little world police force.
