Did not go. Read review in the SF Chronicle. It sounded like it was a great show. She's got so many talented singers alongside her too. I'm a huge fan, I own all her CDs and hope to see her perform live one day. Glad to hear you had a good time!

nicely, here is going my takes. it quite is all relating to the track scene in the two eras. interior the 50s, there have been no longer that many artists and all, and commercialization wasn't there, so whoever controlled to scouse borrow the souls of listeners interior the 50s and 60s have been people who nailed the #a million hits. Now nevertheless, radio stations are controlled by commerical pastimes, and that they shop pushing out even in the event that they think of sells. observe that interior the old days, songs could basically be #a million for some weeks, yet now, because of the fact of commercial pastimes, they only shove some songs into rotations and in turn...advance, they stay #a million for thus rattling long...you get much less #a million singles each and every 365 days in the present day than back interior the old days. you apart from would seem to get much less type...indexed decrease than are the final 5 hits on the billboards which could be seen as rock track: July 28, 2007 - undeniable White T's - whats up There Deliah would 12, 2007 - Maroon 5 - Makes Me ask your self December 22, 2001 - Nickelback - the type you're taking me back to the reality November 11, 2000 - Creed - With palms huge Open July 22, 2000 - Matchbox 20 - Bent there replaced right into a 5-6 365 days hollow between Nickelback and Maroon 5. The billboard charts in basic terms care now approximately the two pop, hip-hop, or R&B. The environments have replaced, and in fact gotten worse. The rock from Elvis and others won't ever have a shot here and maximum place self belief in the alt-rock/emoish/inidish cutting-part Rock Tracks or the positioned up-grungy/confusing rocky/metaly Mainstream Rock Tracks in the event that they like to get a #a million hit...or pass into deep pop rock for a shot. It sucks now...we nonetheless provide credit to Elvis nevertheless for revolutionizing rock and gaining the main form of #a million singles in a quick term.
