like not ever. policy is determined by how much you can give your local politician, and has nothing to do with whether the policy is good for america or for business, nor even people. always remember the golden rule- whoever has the gold rules. right now the color of gold is black and that belongs to the arab.

I agree that nothing has ever changed in the past thirty years as far as politicians, because politics is no longer the answer, a person coming from the common level of people is the only choice, I say this because he will understand what his actions can cause among the people he serves,a political person has lived a life of ease, this makes it impossible for him to comply with the needs of the people he serves, its like me telling you how to rebuild a jet motor and you can't even change your oil,a man can only lead the ones he understands, working Americans don't think like politicians, over and over this problem continues, the time in this country's history for positive change is now more than ever, and i am that person who can lead our county and leave other country's to deal with their own problems, flush all political candidates this year, and give the job to a common man,and see change you can feel, and that is better than lies you can only hear over and over.

If you really want to correct the problems with the Politicians, then a law should be passed that they can only serve two times in Office. We should also force them into the Social Security System we must use, and cancel the tax paid private millionaire retirement program they presently have!

No: They have been failing us ever since they went on a taxation binge in the early 1900,s. At that time there were no Income Taxes, Sales Taxes, and no taxes on taxes like we have now. There are hundreds of taxes that we have to pay now and many are hidden taxes that we are not even aware of.
They are just more noticable now that the world is smaller and communications are better.

interesting question. If you mean their failure is inevitable, you are probably right... they are, after all, human. Some politicians, however, have made a positive mark in this world despite their short-comings.
Jimmy Carter, for example. Terrible president, but wonderful humanitarian whom I respect, despite being a Republican.

Yes its why we send them to Washington..to vote on policys...the question is which party represents the policys you would like to see advanced...candidates can say whatever they want to..but most will vote straight down their party lines.

They fail us because policies are driven by their selfish greed and not from any concern about America or Americans.
