When I try to take a picture of something in the living room,only things show are bright lightening things such as ceiling light,computer and tv.please help.

Also this camera is very much new.the funny thing is the man from where I purchased the camera took pictures and show me how to do it.I got home and tried the camera it work when I put in front of comuter,tv,but would not work when I tryed to take a picture of an object that did not have any light.please help.thanks.

Basically this is a lighting problem. Read your user manual where it will tell you about "Indoor" and "Night" settings. You have to set the camera to this mode while taking indoor pictures. Also in most digital cameras you will find FLASH on button beside the LCD. Switch on the FLASH you will get superb pictures. Give me your make and model number, I can try to find out which button to press n stuff...

You need to call the manufacturer if you just bought it. If it is old, well these things fade over time. Time for another camera
