FACT: in Canada and the EU the treatment of choice for stage 2 bladder cancer is surgery and radiation. A treatment method that has lower cost and a 50% 15yr survival rate. In the US the treatment of choice is Chemo and surgery. A treatment program that has a MUCH higher cost...and a 80% 15 year survival rate. so if I am dong my math right, in Canada and the EU about 30% of the people who get bladder cancer end up paying for their government health care with their lives.
