I'm getting SOOO sick of the back and forth about Foley. Republicans are saying it happened in the Democratic party 20 years ago so you are being hypocritical, the dems are saying, quit bringing that up like it shouldn't matter! Now, my question being, along with several others... How can you NOT see the hypocrisy in this situation... SECONDLY if the tables are turned in 20 years would you bring up the Foley scandal and would the Republicans be saying, shut the hell up, that's old news? It should NEVER be old news. What happened, HAPPENED. They are BOTH disgusting creatures, but WHY THE HELL can't you Democrats see that your guy HAD SEX! Maybe foley given the chance might have as well... but it didn't get that far....And Foley actually RESIGNED! PLease I'm begging democrats to say something original this time, cause I'm really asking a question... all this is is double standards, ADMIT IT!!!! challenging isn't it?

Well I don't know what it was that drst was saying but I agree with you and I am a voting Democrate. Both sides of the table need to stop pointing fingers at each other and just sit down and resolve the problems, blame can be only given to the person that they see in the mirror every morning. Stop the blaming there and you can stop the pointing of fingers.

Another example is the Clinton/Lewinsky sex scandal. No, Monica was not under 18 but Ken Star was labeled a "pervert" because he was investigating Clinton's lies. Democrats were appalled that America was interested in the sexual behavior of an elected official.
In addition. Today it was reported that the most illicit emails occurred after the page was 18 yrs old. That says that the label of "pedophile" is hardly accurate. Foley may be a dirtbag, I dont know anything about the man. Certainly he demonstrated bad and irresponsible behavior to say the least. Being a homosexual does not make him a predator as the left claims.

this isn't any longer incorrect. What approximately brothers that marry sisters, or in my reason, 2 cousins marry 2 brothers. Or, 2 step brother and sister, marry..... they do no longer seem to be suitable by using blood and that they could tell the grandkids that grandpa is daddy's dad and grandma is mommy's mom, we met at their wedding ceremony and fell in love. have been only 1 vast happy family individuals.. undemanding.. ok perhaps basically a tad strange, yet then if each and every thing replaced into decrease and dry, each and every of a similar, we could have no longer something to communicate approximately!

not really. history is just repeating itself as it always does but with different charcters. want to know about scandals, read about the teapot dome scandal, us gran's drunkenness, hoover's follish belief that all was well after the crash of '29, how the house censured abe lincoln and on and on. don't blame democrats for takin advantage, that's what the republicans do when they get the chance. they're just on the rceiving end now, just like nixon was over watergate. and he was a republican too.

I wish to hell they would pay attention to what is IMPORTANT right now, but the Democrats have no ideas so they sling mud. The Republicans are trying to minimize the damage, but in the meantime, who is focusing on Iraq, North Korea, Iran, etc etc??? And 20 years from now, most likely all evidence will point to hypocrisy everywhere.
