I have just one answer...
You could make a card with the poem below & give to someone who has lost a loved one & needs a bit of cheering up.
I myself have lost my Dad & everytime I see a penny laying on the ground that poem comes to mind.
Before a Christmas family get to gather & Dad has passed away earlier in the year I was feeling down & out because Dad wasn't there to be with us.
While going into Wal-Mart to get a last minute gift I happened to see something bright & shiny on the ground...it was a bright, shiny, new penny.
I still have it & think of Dad each time I run across it.
I know it was just a token but it sure brought happy memories to me & everyone I told.
I keep the poem on business card sized paper for myself & keep several to pass out to friends/family.

Penny from Heaven

I found a penny today
Just laying on the ground,
But it's not just a penny--
This little coin I've found.

Found pennies come from heaven
That's what my Grandpa told me,
He said Angels toss them down
Oh, how I loved that story.

He said when an Angel misses you
They toss a penny down,
Sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of your frown.
So don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue,
It may be a penny from heaven
That an Angel's tossed to you.

or get a bunch and melt them down into something cool like a statue, a ring, or a neckless/ that says RICH B*TCHES on it lol

2. I took a bog of them to a casino once and got 65.00 for them in the change sorter.
3, I was the tooth fairly once and make a necklace of nickles, dimes, quarter and pennies sticking them on tape and covering them again with tape. My niece never forgot that day the tooth fairy came to her at my home that night..

when i was a child and didnt want to go to school,i would put a penny under my tongue it causes your temperture to go up severely and b4 mom would come w/ the thermometer,i would take it out ,the copper just does it somehow ,anyway it worked like a charm,other than that spend them and throw them in a waterfountain for good luck,oh yes and the 4rth although you didnt ask for 4 was in the michael jackson era put them in my penny loafers

My son and I like putting them in those machines that smash them and imprint something on them...

We save them til we have tons of them to make people at the bank crazy...

We look at every one of them to see the dates, and see how far back some of them are dated...and look for what we call wheat head pennies...

We do things that are boring to most people I guess...but we have fun...=) We also pick up every one of them we see on the ground...
