I have a 96 cavalier that won't restart after driving it for 15 mins. or so.
If I wait 20 mins or so after shutting it off , it will restart. I've replaced the fuel pump (new). I can hear it running when the car is running.
The gastank is also new and have tried replacing the fuel filter twice. Anyone had this happen?

Is it a carbureted engine? It may be a case of vapor locking in the carb when it heats up.

I'd try running some fuel injector cleaner though with a tank of gas. You can usually pick it up at most gas stations. You all so may want to test your ignition coils, the cars maintenance manual should explain how to do this, if they test out good you might want to take it into a shop and have the fuel lines cleared, it's a long shot but I have heard stories about things getting into the fuel lines and expanding when the car warms up, that might be the problem as well.

Two things come to mind.
Is there any chance that there is a flood condition here? Have you tried starting it in "Clear Flood" mode? (Throttle to the floor during crank. Shuts off the injectors)
Is there spark? Have you checked the cam / crank sensor? Any chance the coil module (under the coil pack) is heating up?

Good Luck

there's definitely not a carb on your car. are you positive its fuel related. the only other thing you did not do that has to do with your fuel system is have your injectors pressured cleaned at a shop. you could be having a spark problem or some other problem else where.
