How much would it cost to have unlimited texting per month, or if they have a joint price for multiple months, a year, etc, let me know. Thank you. I have Verizon and all my friends have text. I've told them I don't, but they continue to send me messages and I reply, hoping they'll stop, but they don't. If it doesn't cost too much, I'd like to get it and pay for it myself, so my parents don't have that added expense.

It's $10 more on top of whatever plan you choose for voice. You can get it from this place: http://www.selectivemobile.com/Default.asp?aid=yh&ref=

I have a Verizon Wireless plan and believe it or not, the cost for unlimited texting is extremely reasonable (that is if you are a person who frequently receives and sends text messages) at a monthly cost of like $5 added on to your current plan. If you use the texting feature alot then it is worth the savings of having the unlimited capability versus not having it and spending all the extra money on texting charges (per text received or sent.)
I think that it is very responsible that you are wanting to pay for this added feature by yourself...parents appreciate responsibility like that and I think you should ask them about it and contact your local authorized Verizon dealer to find out for sure about the charges and such. Hope it works out! :)

The $10 and $15 plans are only for Verizon to Verizon or "In" messaging. Verizon does not carry an unlimited plan, so if you and your friends and faily all have Verizon, then you will be cool.

Best thing to do is go talk to Verizon dealer. They would be better able to answer this question. Especially with all the different plans out there.
