The root cause is ignorance and liberals abound in it.

For me, the root cause is his politics. That may sound simple, but it really isn't. He doesn't believe in the things that I believe in, and my political self is the most REAL part of me, so we would not get along under any circumstances. He is of a class that doesn't understand for even a second what my life is like. He lies to the people! He has hidden agendas that send young men to be killed in a stupid war! He looks out for his own "class". He was a coke-head and burned up MANY, Many brain cells. He did everything he could to avoid fighting in a war, but thinks nothing of sending other people's sons to die overseas. He snorts when he laughs. He is stupid--and went to college based on his family and background (but would be the first to do away with affirmative action)--certainly not on his scholastic merits.
Do you want more?
He could NEVER change my mind, because I would never believe him if he said he changed!

The cause of the hatred for Bush is intelligence, common sense, some understanding of and feeling for humanity, and love of America.

Not my mind nor histories. Bush will be, legitimately, hated by future generations of Americans as well as many citizens of other nations.

people like wolf are the ignorance that is the problem.

I would like to know this too, it's an excellent question. I understand people disagree with the man, hell I think he can be pretty dumb... However... do they realize how many Democrats were in support of Iraq and how many thought there were WMDs? THEY ALWAYS LEAVE OUT THIS FACT WHEN BASHING THE PRESIDENT AND IT MAKES NO SENSE!!!!!

i do no longer think of he has led to greater hatred in the direction of gay people, i think of he has made hatred in the direction of gay people greater suitable in society, it is extremely unhappy. F'ing fresno - why does not that marvel me. i'm from Sacramento, and that i word that Northern CA is slightly greater conservative than SoCal. you comprehend the way it is - it takes a protracted time for vogue, song, and present day questioning to head to the smaller cities.

They have to have someone to blame. Why not him?Blame,blame,blame,blah,blah,blah......But do they EVER present a solution to anything they complain about? NO. If you were to take them ALL and give them their OWN country, 6 months from now they would be starving, bankrupt, and begging for aid from, yes, GEORGE W BUSH. Why?
Because they spent SO much time blaming each other for their 'country' not succeeding, they would NEVER get anything done.(Remember, in this country, there would be NO Repubs to blame).

There is nothing that man can do to change my mind! Instead of uniting the country he's divided it further. He is trying to circumvent the law and the constitution at every turn and disregard the fundamental principals that we live by so he can get a win before he leaves office, hoping that folks will not see the forest for the trees . . .

The main purpose/reason for hatred towards "George Bush" is his stupidity, and trying to be everone's hero. In my opinion he is no more a president than Osama is to being captured.

A pathological hate at being losers (elections, etc) externalized to the cause of those defeats.

No I don't think he could but I hated him before he was even elected. I don't know about any body else but I would prefer a president who had a vocabulary past a fourth grade level, I think that would be nice is all. Also to some of the other responders it's not just liberals who hate him it's mostly people who wouldn't like to see the whole world hate our country and the people who live in it, mostly.

A LOT ! His cowboy, arrogant attitude, his stupid stubborn face, his lying constantly over everything, his going in war with Iraq, his creating bad reputation of America in the whole world .... list is too long. He can not do anything to change the mind of people. He should be punished properly for what he has done.
