HTML coding is code for a layout design for either a website or a profile. This will enable you to get a layout for your profile. If you search on the internet for layout codes for your specified profile website e.g if it is myspace, there are myspace layouts, you just choose one that you like best and copy+paste the HTML code into your profile HTML section. You can also change the colour of the layouts in the colour section- tip- go to this website for colour codes: http://www.immigration-usa.com/html_colors.html. Ask someone first where the colour code section on your html is, or better yet, you can post it here so that I can tell you again :). One more tip- Sometimes on HTML codes, you can see a section which says 'usernamehere' or something like that. You must change that to your username, but don't change anything else. If you wish to make your own HTML code, I have given you a website below to help you make one.

Hypertext Markup Language(HTML) is the basis for all Web pages. It is easy to use and simple to learn.
You can use HTML code editors and WYSIWYG editors to built your HTML pages, but if u r new to it......u should start off with hand coding to get an in-depth understanding to of the way HTML works.
HTML only requires a simple text editor to start coding-like notepad.
an HTML file contains "markup tags" that tell The Web browser how to follow the instructions enclosed within the tags. The angular brackets"<"and">" indicate that the text within the brackets is a tag.The start of the tag and the end of the end of the tag are identified using special formats. For e.g.
indicates the start of a new paragraph, and
indicates the end of the paragraph.Regular text, or other instructions is enclosed betwwen the starting and ending tags. The tags r not case sensitive(unlike XML).
A basic HTML coding is like this-------
___________________________________________________________
My HTML page
this is a HTML page.
and now this text is bold
___________________________________________________________
In notepad--copy-paste the above text and save file as .html or.hml.
This is just the basic.
If u wonna learn it properly, better buy a good book which teaches HTML. :-)

Dear,
HTML - Short for Hyper Text Markup Language, the authoring language used to create documents on the World Wide Web. HTML is similar to SGML, although it is not a strict subset.
HTML defines the structure and layout of a Web document by using a variety of tags and attributes. The correct structure for an HTML document starts with
(enter here what document is about) and ends with . All the information you'd like to include in your Web page fits in between the and tags.
There are hundreds of other tags used to format and layout the information in a Web page. Tags are also used to specify hypertext links. These allow Web developers to direct users to other Web pages with only a click of the mouse on either an image or word(s).

HTML is basic web formatting.
http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp
You can think of it like markers that define how the web browswer should see text. For example, you want to make something appear bold, you might put say this is bold - the "" means start making everything after here bold and the "" means end the bold formatting, return to normal.
Read the tutorial link I provided - there are many other options for formatting text -
underlines
italic
centers
creates a new line (BReak)
means this is a paragraph
makes text smallest possible
makes text large as possible

HTML is a computer code used to design web pages. If you want to add a pic to your site, you can use
, just remember to upload the picture too. For background color, use
for black. If you want a different color, you can go to http://www.lynda.com/hex.asp# for a list of color codes.

Just go to any site like myspace and ask for help in the forums or just copy a premade layout and modify and learn from that.
