Get a high flow intake for between 100-200 bucks to start, then maybe headers, i dont know if you can program the chip on those. Try losing as much weight off the truck too.

bigger jets in carby-or aftermarket chip for injected
larger ports for inlet and exhaust-or polished
reset timing or degreed cam
bigger diameter exhaust system
the more fuel you can get in and out faster -the faster you can go -it's that simple
a tried and true bullet proof system for all vehicles

Nitrous Oxide!! It you want to go fast for cheap!! Use a 80 shot you should be good on a stock motor!!!

Intake, exhaust,headers and high flow cat are usually pretty cheap and give you a pretty good gain.
