i nee to fix and restore settings and documents on my computer haker has changed things?

i am having problems is there free software i can download to help me install microsoft windows xp

If you want WindowsXP you will not get it free. If you get a pirated copy, you cannot get updates and fixes. Always best to get a legitimate copy and register it. You will not need any other software to install it.

How do you know a hacker changed things? What things? Don't you use a firewall? Have an antivirus program? Check for spyware with Norton's free spyware checker on the Yahoo toolbar?
