...does this mean that horoscopes and astrology have been wrong all along? Are all those silly prognostications forever altered?

Just because Pluto is no longer a planet to astronomers does not mean it cannot remain a planet to astrologers.

No Astrologers didn't reclassify Pluto, Astronomers did, so all those forecast are still valid. You can't take a job away from Pluto, he's doing what he does, always has, always will.

Pluto handles what absolutely has to happen, process, birth, growth, and rebirth are all under his jurisdiction.Hes in charge of the scary stuff, he loves black, hates the spotlight, and always works below the surface. Head of the department of death, decay, destruction, and other unavoidables. He disposes of situations that have gone past the point of no return, that absolutely must go. You can't fire Hades! If anything, by declassifying (dwarfing) a planet that does all its work behind the scenes, or hidden, we've just empowered him on his own terms.

Planets are real so real they follow orbits you can track mathematically, I've seen them and so have you, heck NASA'S even has pictures of them. People confuse the fact that Astrology, is not a religion, belief is not required, always has been that way, always will be.

Astrology is older than discovery of Pluto ( or of Neptune/Uranus). But the key point is this. Why should it matter to astrologers whether astronomers call Pluto a planet or a non-planet.?Does this mean that predictions made in the past treating Pluto as a planet are being withdrawn now.?

Horoscopes are like Papa Joe, the slightly crazy 'Nam vet that lives down the street from me. Sure his stories are entertaining and have a good lesson at the end of them, but the lessons are different for every person and you really have to remember that he's a little nuts and a lot old.
Also, Pluto is a Dwarf Planet, like Eris, which was sadly never recognized as a regular planet and got no real fame. It still counts, just like a Dwarf Star is still a star... their just littler.

Frankly speaking, Pluto did not have any major role to play in astrology & horoscopes. It had always played a minor role in all such areas. So, there will hardly be any difference in the horoscopes made & astrology forecasted all this time .

Maybe. Here is an interesting fact there is another zodiac sun sign called Ophiuchus that is left out of horroscopes because it does not fit certain criteria.

Well not necessarily.
See, Astrology is really just a big guessing game based on simple facts and equations.

sorry, that's not really an answer...it's more of a rant....:)

I don't think astrology mixes well with modern science, not yet at least.
