They would all have different personalites distinguished by color. And their main purpose is to help men understand women better, like they would hide in the food at the restraunts and "dish" out advice LOL, pun intended for you slow ones :-) . Anyway, I want it to be a good old fashioned family movie and I want it to star James Earl Jones as the main guy. Also, I want them to have mustaches and different disguises.

There are plenty of Successful Movies that starred talking animals.
A Bugs Life - with talking Bugs.
Ants - with talking ants.
Barnyard / Babe / Animal Farm - with talking farm animals.
Shark Tale - with talking sharks.
Finding Nemo - with talking fish.
Monsters Inc. - with talking monsters.
Madagascar - with talking penguins.
Toy Story - with talking toys.
The Aristocats - with talking cats.
Lady & the Tramp / All Dogs go to Heaven - talking dogs.
Cats & Dogs - with talking cats & dogs.
Over the Hedge - with talking critters.
The Wild / Lion King - talking wild animals.
Ice Age- with talking wooly mammoths.
Cars - actually, those were talking cars, which is even stranger than talking animals.
I think the key is having a good plot and storyline. Whoever is doing the talking is secondary to having a good story and good animation. You weren't planning on actually dressing up little shrimps were you. That would probably be detrimental to even having a good story.

I like the idea. I say do it. Just don't have them scream everything they say like a lot of these movies. It gets on my nerves.
