The last time I had my period was in Aug and it didnt really came out much. There were times it came little here and there which I still consider it less. I've never been throught this situation before and last month ( sept. ) I didnt had my period at all. I took a home preg. test ( ept? the popular one ) on Oct. 1st and showed a negative result. Btw, I've never had unprotected sex either... >< could I be pregnant?

Althought I am aware the results of the home preg. test aren't always accurate but I feel that's the only way I can figure out right now. Im currently 17 right now and I know for a fact people out there esp. women would be saying we shouldnt be having sex around this age but teenagers still do anyway. Im afraid I can't be able to see a doctor because then my parent will find out... can doctor keep a secret for you or do they must notify our parent?

Responding to B T:

I've missed my period twice before and then I would have my period twice in that month. Once was when I barely got my period in 7th grade and another was this year.. I never had my period in March until Apirl 1st then again towards the end of Apirl

Responding to Rachel W:

I'm not sure do I have signs toward of being pregnant. I wouldn't consider the feeling tire as one because school does stress me out and i do often get tire of that. Beside that i do not have boobs tender or morning sickness what so ever althought i do have cramps.

Responding to Tiffany:

Im definitly sure I can handle my own consequences but talking to my typical asian parents are difficults from what they expect. I only came to yahoo to ask for opinions and an idea. I've already have an idea what Im going to do but first of all I would like to find out the facts before i come to my parent. Beside, Im still wondering would the doctor keep personal privleges or no because im under 18?

I would try First Response or another "popular" one. Then go to the doctor, if you aren't pregant something else could be wrong.

Good Luck!

I'm not sure about the Doctor being able to keep it from your parents but ept is really accurate unless you took it too soon. I would test again and if it comes back negative you're probably not pregnant. I would still see a doctor and tell him about your problem and mention that your parents can't know until you're ready to tell them if you are indeed pregnant.

Well you could be or you may not be. Sometimes tests are wrong, but sometimes stress increases and other factors can cause you to skip a period. Do you have any other signs of being pregnant? Are you feeling tired, your boobs tender, etc? If you are having signs then I would say yes if not then I would try another test. Any other questions feel free to e-mail me.

The wife took one of those tests once and it showed neg. 8 months later we had Wally. Unprotected sex is a strange concept that gives hope to people. Have you ever heard the phrase "equipment failure"? Go see a doctor and get checked out. That way you will know for sure. Congrats if they apply.

Go to your local planned parenthood (they have them almost every where in the country), they'll do a test for you and even if it dose come back negative they can probably tell you what's going on but they won't tell your parents anything. I went there when I got pregnant at 17.

you could be pregnant even though the pregnancy test said negative. I suggest going to a Dr and finding out for sure if you are pregnant or there is something else going on. Take care

If you're NOT mature enough to handle the consequences, then you should NOT be having sex. Talk to your parents about these things, not people on yahoo. I got pregnant when I was 17. I went to the doctor (oh my god), and get this, I TOLD my parents. Can you believe it? Grow up a little more before you make adult decisions.

Not likely, if you've never had unprotected sex.

Lots of ladies miss periods and have irregular cycles.

This happens a LOT if you are very young, or if you are close to menopause.

Try just going on with your business and not worrying about it. Sometimes, worry & stress will cause this.

Why don't you go to planned parenthood? They provide free and confidential care to teenagers. And since you are worried you could become pregnant, why don't you get on the pill while you are there? Your parents don't need to know about it although I think it is sad you can't talk to them about this.

yes, you could be,but if you had a negative test I wouldn't worry to much. They are pretty accurate these days. You can miss a period for many reasons.Stress is a big one.
If you miss another period or are experiencing pain,go ahead and see your doc.Good Luck!♥
