He doesn't want to see any members of the Republican party leave office because it will persuade more people to vote Democrat in November.
Of course, this action shows a policy of putting politics over morality. And that is a policy which has been well-adopted and assimilated into the Bush Administration.

I don't believe Hastert is A pervert.....i just think he only went to the Republican on the committee and not the democrat because he wanted to cover it up beginning several years ago.....GUILTY!!!!

Clearly, you're an idiot like Hastert.

Hastert is a political animal, just like the rest. (Dems and Reps.) He's more interested in maintaining the status quo and keeping power than he is in doing the right thing. To that degree, he is wrong.

It is, however, highly unwise to sensationalize such cirumstances for political gain. Such things tend to backfire. Voters are not THAT dumb.

Clearly you need to get a life. I cannot wait until the next Dem scandal, how much pie will you be sloughing off your face? Is anyone actually worried about the boys involved in this scandal, or just how many votes can be weaseled because of it?

He protected him because it will cost the repuke's votes in November. The cover up and the act are both equally criminal and should be punished.
