Yes, I have sprained my ankle many times. Unfortunately after many years of doing so, I now seem to always have trouble with this ankle. The rule is, "if you can walk with no pain, run. If you can run with no pain, then return to normal activities." Takes anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks to heal. But make sure it is healed before you do anything strenuous. Take it from someone who knows!

I have sprained an ankle 2 or 3 times. It took 2-3 weeks to heal. The worst sprain involved putting my leg in a removable plastic splint that went from my calf down to the bottom of my foot. That gave it good support, however, and helped ease the pain.

depends how bad the sprain is, I've sprained my ankle numerous times and sometimes it would take up to 6 weeks to heal and other times just a few days.

First of all it depends on how bad the sprain is. When I sprained my ankle when I was a kid the doctor wrapped it with ace bandage and said not to walk on it for 2 weeks. Every doctor is different. Some say walk on it right away. Every sprain is different. call your doctor.

I'm a ballet dancer, and it took almost 12 weeks to heal completely. (As in no pain at all). I was still dancing, but taking it easy in class. I iced it several times each day, and wore a brace for about 3 weeks.

it took me like two months to get rid of the pain, that was two years ago and still suffer from that accident, but it can get better if you go to physical therapy and of course the first days with ice pads, in a high position and almost in-mobile

Yes. I had to ice it, and stay off it for about 3 days.
