I have a long-standing theory, and it's never failed me to this day. I believe there is a yet undiscovered mental illness known as BDA Syndrome. BDA, or BIG DUMB A** Syndrome effects people of all walks of life from age 16 - 50. People usually grow out of the illness by age 50, but by then it may be too late. BDA's most common symptoms are easy to identify. Being attracted to total *******, dismissing or even shunning away nice guys (or girls - BDA knows no gender boundaries), and after being completely devastated by one of the afore-mentioned losers, going right back to another one - or even the same one within a short period of time. Don't let BDA ruin your life too!

I hope this has helped you.

Typically it's the challenge of getting the person to like them. People all want to be accepted and there is a little mystery and excitement when they work on someone particularly unattracted to them. Sometimes, it's out of coming from a dysfunctionaly past and they are drawn to people who reject them because it is all that they know in relationships.

i seem to see this happenw with guys more than girls(no effense to them.)

i think...

Some people like to play hard to get, and it also depends on the guy. Some guys just go for it because they mostly like to play the hard to get part more than just being with the girl (i don't like those types). Some just like that girl for some reason and not because they just push them away. Some want to show(if they get the girl or boy) that they're so cool to get that girl, so it's mostly for their ego. Others may have just big crushes on someone and they didn't mean to fall for them.

It really just has to do with the type of person that guy is....
i'm sry you can't really find out why MOST people do that, it really depends on how they are.

that's all i've got to say
hope it helped

Some people find it more appealing to want what they can't have. It's the thrill of the chase, to conquer someone they never thought they can have. They want the challenge.

Some people can't deal with rejection and keep trying.
The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, remember?

Because most people love the thrill of the chase of wanting to win the unwinable one...

These people have low self-esteem. They think if a person likes them, lowly them, then they're not worth much either. They want someone they wrongly consider better than themselves.

we like to be challenged. if something is too easy, it doesn't seem worth it. just like in our jobs......if it's too easy.......we probably make less money. if a guy is easy to get, he can get any one. think of it like........being a doctor.......it's hard and not many people do it.
Anything that is harder is more worthy.
