The last time I had my period was in Aug and it didnt really came out much. There were times it came little here and there which I still consider it less. I've never been throught this situation before and last month ( sept. ) I didnt had my period at all. I took a home preg. test ( ept? the popular one ) on Oct. 1st and showed a negative result. Btw, I've never had unprotected sex either... >< could I be pregnant?

More than likely it's stress. Are you under great stress??

Discuss this with your doctor. Call your doctor if you can't get there and more than likely he/she will want to confirm with a test but, will probably say it's stress. There is a chance there is something medically wrong.. and your doctor knows your history better than I do so, talk to your doctor.

The tests nowadays are really good. The can detect pregnancy upon the first lack of period, which is only about 2.5 weeks after conception. So... with the test being negative I would say you are probably not BUT, re-test in a week and half. And make sure you follow the instructions to the letter!!!

Home pregnancy tests often show negative when in fact they should be positive. Don't waste your money on home pregnancy tests. Go see your doctor to rule out infection or disease. They will do a urine test to see if you are pregnant, and if you aren't they will do other tests to see what might be wrong. If you have a male doctor and he doesn't take this seriously, change to a female doctor right away. Women doctors can identify more with your problems than a male can, and women are less likely to be patronizing and dismissive. Any time your normal periods are interrupted, you need to get it checked out to make sure you don't have something really serious like, heaven forbid, cancer. Cervical and uterine cancer need to be diagnosed early for treatment to be effective.

If you don't have a serious illness, great, but get it checked out to be sure.

if you've never had unprotected sex then it doesn't seem likely you would be pregnant, unless there was a slip in protection.

Sometimes stress or extra physical exertion can cause periods to become irregular. I had a friend once who went away to work at a swimming pool for a few months - and apparently the exposure to all the chemicals in the pool, all day every day, caused every SINGLE one of the girls to become irregular or stop their periods completley. Kind of crazy.

Either pregnent or seriously stressed. Try to calm down and don't freak yourself out. Take another test in a couple of days if you can wait that long and accept the result. Good luck.

If EPT came back negative, don't panic. There are several things that can alter your monthly cycle, with stress being the number one. That said, please go and see your OB/GYN and get a checkup. There could be something else going on that has your cycle out of whack, and he or she can tell you what's going on better than anyone.

If you've had sex...you could be pregnant. Take another test then make an appointment to be seen by a doctor.
