Its seems very hard to get into a real serious relationship because I own my home own my car and have a desent job, can cook, love and have the time for a nice repectful person . what the heck is wrong with these jerks I dont understand.

hey, some guys find independent women to be very attractive. My wife is my equal. Last thing i want is to spend my life with some weak willed spongy companion. By the way, the only submission "Common Sense" gets is from his hair covered palms

Seriously, though, I can give you the commonly believed answer which is the fact that men like to be the breadwinners, they like to be in control of the money and support their woman. This, though, has never made much sense to me, and I'm sure there are other men who would agree. I would say that the guys that don't get into serious relationships with you are insecure about their own station in life. Find a man that has a good job (even if he makes less than you) and is settling down a little bit and I think you'll have much better luck in the future.
Me, though, I'm always on the look out for a sugarmomma. ;)

I'm not sure they're really intimidated. I just think that a lot of men like the way that it feels when a woman needs them to be the strong one. A woman who is very strong herself is not as attractive because she seems not to need him as much...it doesn't feed that protective instinct that most men have.
There ARE guys out there who really like an independent woman, but a lot of them are very independent themselves and, therefore, not as into relationships.

Men think that they should run the show, and a women should always be the bi*ch of the home, and when a woman can take care of her self a man don't know what to think.On the other hand some men like that.

Ego,they want to provide these things for you but you have them already.It's not your fault you get what you want,but men with big ego's feel a sense of loss of control when they can't control the relationship.Some also feel like you'll love them more if they buy you so to speak.It's ego and control or lack of.
