death. i was married for twenty years and never wanted to be with anyone else. she cheated. you asked what makes them stop. so you mean they started. but there are those men that never cheat. i was one. even when masturbating with other external stimuli, when it became critical my mind would always return to my wife for the climax.

That's a great question! Men that have not cheated are the best way...Once someone starts it's very hard I would imagine to get them to stop.

Sadly nothing, Once a man starts to stray, he will always do it.
The worse part about it is that he will just get better at hiding it.
The excitement becomes two fold, the experience of another woman and the risk of being caught, and this makes it a challenge as well.
Sorry but this is the cold hard truth.

Telling them that you will leave them if they don't stop. Then if they don't stop, leaving them.
By the way, i noticed you saying you were a therapist on another answer to a question, but you asked about treatments for borderine personality disorder. That's the sort of thing a therapist would already know.

If the woman does her part to keep a relationship active and interesting. If a person changes in a lot in a relationship, either personality or looks, I say that can cause disinterest.

if a man cheats on his wife they call him a bastard
if a woman cheats on her husband they ask what was wrong with him.
bottom line. 80% of women cheat on their husbands
60% of men cheat on their wives.
a man willl never admit that his wife cheated on him.
women will tell the whole world that her lousy husband cheated.
why, because sex is all about women and for women
men are around to please women
