I would like to try wearing sandals in the Winter (Weather and Tempature permitting) so my feet can air out in the cool air. I would like to see if they ate comforable in the Winter, and if they can be good to wear. I see a few people wear Dr Marten Sandals in the Winter barefoot mostly, and sometimes the tempature is only about 25'F. I don't think my feet would freeze since my feet are used to the cold.

I love sandals, even if it's cold outside. I moved from California to Pennsylvania 4 years ago & have not gotten used to the cold winters here. I wear sandals every chance I get. But, sometimes,I end up paying dearly for that!

I say go for it! And, what better shoe! The likelihood of them falling apart in the cold are slim, and if you get a good thick pair, they should work out just right.

I would say it's OK, as long as you are comfortable. But....this morning it was about 58F here in southern California. Everyone was talking about how cold it was! Did not see anybody with open toed shoes. When it gets into the 40's I bundle up like I am in Alaska. Now I feel like a wimp!
