The only person who is with you for your whole life is yourself. I am divorced and lost my parents and only brother within the last 10 years. It creates a huge void in my life though I have kids. I've chosen people to be my family. It is not easy and feels very lonely. Antidepressants have helped me survive. Prayer helps too. Good luck.

Yes, I am going thru that now..I am on my own without any family at all...My friends are even starting to walk away because my depression over it is too great for them to handle.

I have a daughter (who lives on the other side of the country) but that is it, mother and father gone, no siblings... aunts and uncles on one side that I never knew and on the other side that I haven't seen in twenty years

No, but if this is what you are going through, my heart goes out to you. I could not even begin to understand what that must feel like... ♥

No, I have no idea how that feels -I have seven living siblings, most of them have children & one has a grandchild. There's virtually no chance that I would ever be in that situation. It must be awful.

i'm saddened to hear that, but i kinda do in a small way although. i was adopted and never have met my real parents, but i was raised by people i have and always will call mom and dad.
it must be very hard and sometimes real lonely for you.

Good question. No I don't know what it's like. I hope good friends will be there for support.

Well...you can always adopt. Or get a pet. If all else fails, you know who is always there for you. (If you don't know who that is, then I feel so sorry for you.)
