Just to add support to the correct answers, the network administrator can easily check which websites you've been to. The network administrator can even go back through your account and see what you have typed. The first time I became aware of this I was shocked to see how much information was kept. This is to enable the NA to do their job easier. The log is just there for them to see :)

To your question, "a network administrator is the one that has access to the main computer that has internet and is the administraor of the computer too right?" Yes, this is the same person.

sure. quite. EDIT: All community site visitors could be quite monitored, and seen. EDIT 2: You human beings do no longer understand very lots approximately networking. appropriate now, without finding at any demonstrate screen, occurring line, or finding at historic previous... My lady buddy's sister is on MySpace sending a message. I even have the completed contents of that message. Her brother is checking on his investments, and his digital mail shopper is now connecting to his gmail account, probably without him understanding it. I did all of this with no longer something extra effective than the change, and a rapid packet seize. If the completed connection isn't encrypted and tunneled out, it may quite be sniffed by the IT team.

Absolutely! There are plenty of programs out there, but I use Internet Cop for my 5 computer LAN.

* Maximum utilization of the existing hardware.
* Distribution of Internet time to a number of persons over a small or large network.
* It logs individual user data.

it depends on the router-- and it's complicated proccess.
You see some routers log-- the IP address of where the traffic came and is going to, from IP address you can find what site it belongs too. But as i said it's a complicated proccess and can't be done with just a few clicks. It would be easier if you just go to the PC -- and see from there.
