It is a glowing light surrounded by dark coluds. For one minute I saw it, then it fades away, but it is still there. My neighborhood is lighted from it, while my friend's neighborhood is still dark.

It's the Earth's moon. It's hiding behind a cloud. The edge of the cloud is nearby, so that the moon is lighting up one neighborhood but not another.

We have essentially a full moon tonight in North America.

I usually see those glowing lights in the clouds and its not extraterrestrial in origin. I live near the suburbs and the mall a few miles away installed a big spotlight to advertise some sort of event. So when the spotlight was turned on the intense light beam illuminated the low lying clouds making them glow in a distinct round shape. the clouds not illuminated by the spotlight remained dark. The fun part is when they put the Batman logo on the spotlight.

Invasion is a strong word. Many things pass through matter with no intention of invasion or military action. Imagine if humans thought the sun was invading every morning. Not an extreme absurdity. but if we were dark loving beings, it would be an issue. Hope to just open your eyes, blessed to view amazing things that sometimes, only you can judge what it was.

It's called a street lamp. It has been placed near your house so that aliens can observe you and keep track of your movements. They've probably erased all memories of your abduction and the bloody rampage you went on with cattle. You have nothing to worry about. When they conquer the planet, you will be one of their trusted supervisors. Trust me on all this. I know.

There is light like that on my house too, with half a minute between intervals. But I think it is the telephone pole.
