No! I hate the fact that the promotions for Christmas begin before Thanksgiving has even happened, and that Thanksgiving promotions happen before Halloween, etc.

It's supposed to be the Christmas season, not the Christmas half-a-year.

Why not start next Christmas promotions on December 26th?
Honestly, the holidays are becoming meaningless. Simply a way of selling stuff and making more money. If it is considered a religious holiday, what does buying a lot of things have to do with it? If it is considered simply a family holiday, what does getting into debt have to do with it? It is really a store and business holiday.
But as a business holiday, it would be better, as someone here has already answered, to take one holiday at a time.

Yes, because as we all learned in the documentary "A Christmas Carol" if you don't keep Christmas in your heart all year round you have to watch out for ghosts. If anything, September is too late for starting Christmas promotions. I'd suggest February.

Stores already have Christmas. Target pushed aside back to school and started stocking Christmas. I am not even exaggerating. At my Target they condensed their clearence school supplies and put the Christmas things on the empty shelves 1 week after Labor day. I know it isn't a promotion but it is still there.

It matters nothing what we think. They are just trying to make lots and lots of money.

Def. not.

I don't think that Christmas promotions should start until after Thanksgiving. I mean its gotten to be ridiculous. Malls put up their decorations way to early now. While I buy most of my presents online now, I love going to the mall when it snows in december to see the holiday decorations. I don't like going to the mall in mid october and seeing christmas decorations. It ruins the holiday spirit. No one can be in the christmas spirit for 3 months.

No.
It would be great if the world would separate itself from the false teachings of the churches and let God be God to them though.
Sounds to me that you are aware that Jesus Christ was born on September 29th.><>
