I think people should keep the candy for the holidays and eat their healthy food daily. It was meant to be a treat, which would make it fine for Halloween or any other holiday, the problem is now that kids eat it any old time. We'd all be healthier if we kept our treats for the holidays.

Good god, what some people won't stoop to in order to spoil someone's fun. Health food on Halloween, help me baby Jesus.

I think the PC weirdos in your town need to be flogged with bunches of raw broccoli and made to watch Arnold movies. What is so wrong about little kids getting candy once a year?

I agree with you - what nonsense.

I think it's up to the individual whether to give out candy or some alternative. Just as long as it's safe.
It's also up to the parents whether or not to allow their children to "Trick or Treat" & to monitor this closely.
